AI Prompt Engineer (Implementation & Growth)

The Opportunity

We are looking for an AI Prompt Engineer to join our delivery team. This role suits a methodical developer who has used AI extensively in a personal capacity and wants to apply those skills to commercial projects.

Technical

You value Clean Code and understand that even when using AI to accelerate development, the final result must be structured and professional.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client-Facing Delivery — Engage directly with clients to understand their needs and help decide on the best technical path forward.
  • AI-Driven App Development — Build applications with AI that utilise AI, such as creating custom assistants that interface with client APIs (e.g. accounting or CRM systems). A natural preference for strongly typed languages is expected.
  • Systematic Workflow Design — Build clear, repeatable patterns and standard ways of working.
  • Linux Environment Management — Operate comfortably within Debian/Ubuntu environments, including understanding basic security principles.

Requirements

  • Commitment to Growth — A genuine interest in self-improvement and personal development. We value candidates who are proactive about their own progress.
  • AI Coding Proficiency — Significant experience using AI tools (e.g. Claude, Codex) to build software and deploy agents. You know how to guide an AI to produce high-quality results.
  • General AI Proficiency — Interest in the full spectrum of the AI toolset, including image and video manipulation, audio processing, and more. You keep up to date with AI developments, languages, and the wider AI community.
  • Interpersonal Skills — The ability to work well with others, contribute to group decisions, and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Methodical Mindset — A preference for organised systems and the ability to turn complex tasks into simple, repeatable processes.
